Renfrew offers voluntary Critical Illness Insurance through Cigna. The plan pays a lump-sum benefit if you are diagnosed with a covered condition, which you can use toward expenses major medical may not fully cover.

You can use the coverage more than once if you or a dependent has multiple critical illness conditions or a recurrence. Separation periods of 6–12 months apply between diagnoses, and lifetime maximums apply. Coverage is available for employees, spouses, and dependent children (up to age 26, regardless of marital or student status).
